We've had no power for the last two days due to a winter ice storm that turned vicious. On our street alone we lost at least 10 trees. The guys had to get out chainsaw just so we could make it off the mountain.
We got many offers to go stay with friends while we had no power, but there was no way I could leave my critters here without a caretaker. I guess that's the crazy goat lady in me! We've been heating water on our grill for the goats every 4-5 hours as we get through this ice storm and a friend let us drive out and use her microwave for the goatlings' heating pads.
