Certified Family Herbalist: Easily Distracted...

session. I admit the Bowel Cleansing/Nourishing section is really very
in-depth... feel like I'm back in Med school. Shame on me!

Certified Family Herbalist: Fundamentals of Herbology
How I spent Valentines?
Started the Fundamentals of Herbology class after dinner.... Just now finished. The class was a two hour lecture. The study guide was 44 questions, including two essays. OMG!
Brain oozing out my ears.... so much info. Great info... but so much of it... none-the-less.
The test? Took 5 seconds.
I scored.... 100%! WOOT!!!

Just finished the 'SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES' video in the Family Herbalist Course....
Got 100% on the test... 10 questions on the test out of a 46 question study guide.

The Family Herbalist Certification Course has Begun...
Just finished the first book, An Herbal Legacy of Courage, in my Certified Family Herbalist course....
The story of a true pioneer of herbal healing, based on Dr. Christopher's life, from birth til days. Some of the stories made me think of the old time 'Snake Oil' salesman with the miraculous claims made in them. I am looking forward to learning more and witnessing these herbs in action. Second book, Herbal Home Health Care text by Dr. Christopher.... comes with a 40 page study guide with many many questions... There is no way I will not get through this one in one day.

Homeschooling Parent
But it's not what you think. It's actually for me, the parent!
Today I am teetering on a decision.... I am just a click away from enrolling in a Master Herbalist program. Something keeps me from clicking. Questions going through my head... Is this the best school for the money? Or does it feel that way because it's the only one I have had experience with through other's who have taken it? Is this the right program from me?
None of the ones I have found let you see even an example of the lessons. They all want their money first. I do not like giving my word that I am going to comment to 5K in payments for a certification.... and then have to go back on on my world because I do not like the course material / it's not what I expected.
Off to do more research!
