Waste Not Want Not Veggie Broth

This is my Butts, Stalks and Pieces Veggie Broth. After reading an article about how American's waste 165 BILLION dollars worth of food A YEAR! I made it my mission to cut down our families food waste. And this recipe is one of the ways I've done it, while saving us tons of money on expensive salt free broths.

How do I do that? Well, I don't toss those trimmed ends from onions, carrots, celery, parsnips, cabbage cores, kale steams, bruised peas, peppers etc. Store them in plastic container in my freezer, and once you have enough saved up, add them to a large pot water, boil it with my favorite salt free herbs/spice and make homemade vegetable broth.

It's awesome!
