Dead Copperhead... The dogs were barking strangely. A totally different bark then we've heard before. I went out and Wiley was laying on the ground nose to nose with a dang snake. He had it cornered and was keeping it from coming towards the house. In the process he got bit on the fore-paw and kept it distracted with Tom got a shovel and came up behind it to chop it's head off.
I cleaned up Wiley's punctures and gave him some Benadryl and doggie aspirin. Going to be a long night keeping an eye on him. If he makes it through the night though, he should be just fine.
