Today I am attempting to dry my Water Kefir grains for the first time in order to make it easier to ship and share with others. Directions say to simply rinse them thoroughly with filtered water then lay them on a piece of unbleached parchment paper in a safe location. I used an unbleached coffee filter as it is what I had.
Now, just have to wait and see!

They dried out pretty easily with no problems... however, the bottom grains stuck to the coffee filter. Going to have to try them on parchment paper next time and see if that works better.
